Rebecka’s Teammate Asked To Go Easy On Her

Rebekah FootballWell I am on my 7th grade football team, and one day we were doing tackling drills just to get placing. (so we didn’t break our necks) And since I was first string offense I went first! We were lined up the coach was ready to blow his whistle when my partner asked if he needed to go easy on me! RUDE I know!!!! The coach replied with a stern no!(which made me feel better)

So coach blew his whistle, I took out both of his knees and he was laying flat on his face. Coach let us try again, but this time before he blew his whistle I asked the coach if I needed to go easy on him!

Thanks for reading my story. Please leave a comment.

  • You really inspire me! Way to go for you not letting him get to you! And kudos to your coach too for his willingness to back you up and have you on the team!

  • Boys are from a whole other different planet from us girls.8-| Awesome job for sticking up for yourself. Last year, my coach, Mr.P. told me a girl was on a football team. i thought that wasn’t even possible. keep inspiring more girls to play sports despite their gender.:)>-

  • Way to go Rebecka!! I played soccer with my brothers, sister and cousins at your age but only because their team (boys) did not have enough guys to play, but I scored and proved them we girls, can play too, and good. I’m talking 1960s when girls could only be “girly”. I kept playing because they realized I was good :)
