I think every girl hears this at some point – it’s what you do after you hear it that matters. Be a victim or prove them wrong….
When I was little:
- Mow the lawn
- Change the tire on the car
- Check the oil
- Win a race
- Take a computer course
- Take a woodworking course
The list is endless – and so is the amount of times I’ve said, “Wanna bet? Watch me!”
And the best piece of advice I’ve ever received – don’t let your fear rule your actions. If someone tells you can’t do it and you’re afraid to do it, time to listen to that voice in your head saying, yeah, we’ll just see about that………
