The only girl

IMG_3784It was the first day of middle school. I was on my way to the band room to find out my classmates. I go in the room sit in my section the saxophone section and waited for another girl. I was all alone the only girl in my class. All the boys said I would not play as good as them.

I practiced as hard as possible and finally the day was here. It came time for the honor band tryouts and I was the only saxophone out of all the guys to make. I showed them up at all the recitals and questions I was the best. This year I am treated like normal because they all know I can show them up.
