Vote for Katharine!
Ok – I admit…I have been watching “American Idol” this season. I don’t usually even watch tv, but I have been hooked on this season’s contest since the first airing. I picked Katharine as a finalist from the first round. Now, here it is – the final 3 – and there she is competing against two guys (who are ok in my opinion but do not compare to her).
I have just finished watching her performance of “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” and I am speechless. That was absolutely fabulous and the best performance I have ever seen on that show (and the judges agree). If she doesn’t win, I will go back to my tv boycott. Did anyone else see her? Leslie – I KNOW you did. Was that not the best thing ever? She deserves a spot in the Girls Who Can section for sure!

A note to tobacowgirl…You should be at home (or my house) watching American Idol and not out shopping and calling your intelligent friends who do watch American Idol!

…oh yeah…and just wait until they have the “band” edition of American Idol and then you will watch it. On second thought, we will be IN that competition!

I don’t think I’d ever wanna be on a show like that. Just kind of turns me off…too much hype. Just my opinion.
