This nearly inseparable duo led the Women’s Movement in America in the 1800’s and without them and their faithful supporters, American women probably still wouldn’t have the right to vote. They fought long and hard on every women’s issue imaginable. If you really want a taste of what they accomplished, I highly recommend watching "Not For Ourselves Alone". It is one of the most amazing documentaries I have ever seen. Much of their success can be attributed to being aware of their gifts and talents. I had no idea women's history was so rich and full of strong women like Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony. I knew who those women were but I never knew that much about them until I saw this film. "Not for Ourselves Alone" should be required in every high school and college history class. I learned so much I don't know where to begin. All I can do is just stand and applaud Susan and Elizabeth and all of the other women who stood their ground and fought for women's rights. We may not be 100% there yet, but we have come a long way and we will forever be indebted to Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony for their incredible efforts and their tireless momentum. =D>

Where was this lesson in history class!
