Dear Gretchen i would greatly like to become a vet when i get outa school but i have a hard time in math but i love animals im only in grade seven. what basic grades do u need to even be considerd???

Hi Vanessa! A good place to start is with a local animal shelter or veterinarians office. See if they need volunteer staff or try to help out at their fundraisers and adoption events.

Also, try local farms… sometimes they need help caring for their animals and you could gain some pretty good hands-on experience there.
