My name is Gretchen and I know what it’s like to be told I can’t do something because I’m a girl. From little league baseball, Jr. High basketball, college courses to multiple careers, I’ve proved them wrong. I have issues with authority – especially when it comes to gender discrimination. You can get the full scoop on me here.

I’ve started a revolution that challenges women to break through gender stereotypes and achieve their dreams. Ideas, motivation, encouragement and interviews can be found on the Girls Can’t WHAT? blog, where we often spark very lively discussions on issues and challenges facing women.
Inspiration can also be found in the Share Your Story section where readers answer the question “have you ever been told you can’t because you’re a girl?” post your own story or encourage other young women by leaving a comment.
