Katie Jones Can Fix Your Car

I was always told that girls can never work on cars and they can’t build stuff out of wood either. Well I’m taking a class at college called Stagecraft where the teacher showed us how to use saws and screwguns to build sets for drama.

So all of us girls in the class end up building the sets and the teacher helps us at times. The sets turn out wonderful and we feel good because we’re like yea we can do it. Plus I also help my boyfriend work on his car. I may not be the best at it but I learn a lot from him and can actually do a bunch of stuff on cars and name a few pieces. It makes me feel good to be able to say “Hey boys you may be able to do that but so can I”.
