As promised, I am giving sneak peeks of each design as they go to production. Here is a sneak peek at the drummergirl.
The drummer was actually the first design I drafted when I first started making these characters. Being a drummer, it was an easy one for me to draw and one that I would wear personally. Drums have so many parts, so I had to simplify it a little bit. My girls get to name each character, and Katelynn named the drummergirl “Anna”.
Anna is a rock star and Katelynn insisted that she wear tie-dyed clothing, including the bandanna in her hair. Anna’s drums are a light purple fade. The pink star on the bass drum was also Katelynn’s idea and I thought it added a little something to the overall picture so we left it in place.
A sneak peek means the design is in production and has not been officially released. When a product design is released, a finished item will be made available in the Shopping section. Finished designs may vary from the sneak peek due to color variations and other factors.
