About Korey Cooper:
Korey developed a love for music from early childhood and first began learning piano at the age of nine. She is married to John Cooper, who has been the lead singer for the hard rocking band, Skillet, since the band formed in Memphis, Tennessee in 1996. Korey joined Skillet as keyboard player and background vocalist in 1999. Recently, Korey took up the electric guitar and boy can she rock!
Korey also has interests outside of music. Her band mates are quick to point out that she has a serious side and her passion for reading and learning is an inspiration to them. Korey describes her ideal day as starting with a solid workout, followed by some songwriting and a trip to Barnes & Noble for a good book.
