Amanda Has a Passion for Bull Riding

Ever since I can remember I’ve had a passion for bullriding and I was telling a couple of friends of mine that it was my dream to bullride. I wanted to pursue my dream and they say to me “you’re crazy you can’t do that! If you were a man it might be possible, but your a woman so that can’t ever happen so get that out of your head.”

Well let me tell you what they had to say didn’t change my mind any at all it just made me want to do it more to prove them wrong and let them know that a woman can do anything a man can do. I’m still planning on making my dream come true.

  • Hi!
I rode on a bull!! It was very fast, but great! I’m from Hungary. I rode in our rodeo association’s clinic. I tell everytime the guys that ‘I want to ride ona bull’. No, you’re a girl and we are concern about you. But in our regulation there is? ‘Women just ride on a clinic.’
So, after 3 years supplication I ride. My boyfriend is bullfighter, so he wasn’t afraid and me neither.
So girls, I hope your dream will come true!!
    Bless of God,
    Diamond.

  • thank you so much.but everyone is saying im crazy.i have rode 9 or 10 bulls on the farm.ive stayed on longer than the guys on the farm.they say im better than some of themself.im a very determined girl.i have worked for every thing i got in my life.

  • I would also love to bull ride. I tried going to Sankey Rodeo Schools but my mom changed her mind at the last minute so I couldn’t go. But if you’re determined enough, and are willing to work for it, anything can happen.

Amanda, bull riding has become a very popular topic on here. If you haven’t done so already, search for “bull riding” and “bull rider” from the search box in the upper right. There are lots of others who have posted the same dream and there is some really great advice, ideas and suggestions in those threads. Let us know how it works out for you. :)>-
