I saw another interview with her somewhere on youtube where she talks about being made fun of as a child. Her story is very inspirational. And there is nothing wrong with never marrying. If it were a guy, I doubt anyone would care if he had ever been married or not. When it comes to women and marriage, people think something must be wrong with her if she isn't married and that simply isn't true. That is so true – they probably wouldn’t be making a big deal about her appearance if she were a guy or the fact that she is single and “never been kissed” at the age of 47. She just <em>knew</em> she was going to do just that. And for her to go out there, be laughed at by a large audience on public television and still retain that level of confidence in herself and her ability is just astounding. If she can do it, why can't the rest of us? It doesn't have to be signing--it can be anything nobody thought you could do but you've always wanted.
