Can they be any more insulting?

There is no doubt this game was invented by a guy. No self-respecting woman would create such an atrocity. Here is their response to all of the backlash:

Dear Players,
Due to unforseen worldwide interest in Miss Bimbo we have had difficulty in maintaining our game in the manner players have become accustomed. We are sorry for this inconvenience and can assure you that our game will be up and running as soon as possible.

This cracks me up…”unforseen worldwide interest” as if intelligent women wouldn’t protest this abomination? Get real. They knew it would cause a stir. (FYI - the word is actually spelled “unforeseen”)

As a result of this rather surprising media attention we have decided to remove the option of purchasing diet pills from the game. We apologise to any players whom this may inconvenience but we feel in light of this weeks proceedings it is the correct action to take.

Well gee thanks for taking action, but how about removing the plastic surgery options, the lingerie and the nightclub activities? Especially when you are marketing this game to children!

We would also like to sincerely apologise to our players for the media comparison of Miss Bimbo and Paris Hilton. We feel that this does a dis-service to the players whom send their bimbos to university, tea parties or chess tournaments.

What the heck? Now I’m confused…is it worse to be compared to Paris Hilton or to be called a bimbo? (Again - spellcheck would help you here…the word is “apologize”)

At this time we would also like to remind players that the Miss Bimbo team assume no responsibility or liability for any fashion faux pas, hair style disasters or boob jobs incurred in real life as as a result of playing the Miss Bimbo game.

So you’re admitting this game has a negative influence on women? :-? Thanks for the confession. I am still shocked that anyone born female would even consider playing this. It’s ridiculous and that’s putting it nicely.

    Hi Gretchen,

    I love your commentary and I totally agree with your take on this. But I gotta wonder… there are women who are so self sacrificial that they buy into this whole subversive diva slander.

    Walk around a post-modern university campus and I’m sure you’ll see some examples. I was amazed at the transformation of some women through “education” when I used to visit my husbands college campus.

    I’m just afraid some of this may come from the top down. I’m open to being corrected, because it’s a sick thought, about as sick as this “Miss Bimbo.”

    I agree with you a lot Gretchen after reading those. I used to think Miss Bimbo was okay, but now I understand how bad an influence it is since they even admit to it being one! The only thing I want to bring to your attention is that Miss Bimbo is an English game, and that’s why certain words aren’t spelled like we Americans spell them.
