I love her so much. She is so cute and her voice is just wonderful. When I first heard the song I wasn’t too sure about it, it is really different sound but I have come to love her a lot. She is very unique.

In this video Corrine is just being herself,her original self and thats what is making her look so beautiful.First I never liked this song but now its one my favorites.

Its like a sweet, innocent teenage girl hanging in the woods, with her friends in a warm summer afternoon.The sun is setting and she is boosting her friends and singing to them “I hope u get your dreams” and out there to every girl she is hoping that everyone reaches for their dreams with their destiny.Its so cool.Its like she is telling all of us just to play one of our favorite songs and forget all what other try to say by discouraging us and just focus on what you what from life.

I like this song, although i like her song, “like a star” better. I like her as well, I like to hear good music by other black women thats empowering. I think she’s kind of cute. Although, as far as looks go I prefer someone like Beyonce or Amerie. They do the natural thing sometimes, but also know how to dress up and do the glam thing which I love.

lol because I am human. To actually tell someone that they will never judge or be judged on their appearance is very naive. All humans are judged on their appearance and I personally dont find anything wrong with it!

I agree we can’t avoid being judged by our appearances, but I am not interested in how an artist looks. I am much more interested in her music. That’s all I was trying to get at there.

Well it’s great to know what you are much more or less interested in.
I, on the other hand, am interested in artists as a whole person. And looks are included in that. All successful artists know that in order for them to stay there they have to be able to market themselves as a whole.

and in destiny’s child i like stand up for love, independent women, survivor, soldier, jumpin jumpin, lose my breath, say my name, emotion, bug a boo, bootylicious, bills, girl, cater 2 u

lol so you pretty much like the whole b day album. Thats cool, me too! And all the other ones you named are old favorites. I used to sing along to all of those in middle school. The Writing on the Wall cd was the first cd my step dad ever bought for me and I performed one of their songs at a talent show with friends of mine! (great memories, lol).
i like fergie, (keyshia cole, ciara, and rihanna sometimes). I love evanescence, for some reason i cant really think of any more. But when i can i will post more.

um yeah that song someday was okay, I wouldn’t buy it though.
but the trumpet song, i wasn’t really feeling. And the birthday song I just didn’t like at all, I thought it was really dumb.
But i’m not in college though.

lol if? When I graduated from high school I didn’t really know exactly what I wanted to do with my life. So instead of going to college to make my family happy (and possibly end up wasting everyone’s time and money) I decided to work instead. I also model, act, and sing. I figure I will only be young enough to actually make in the entertainment industry for so long. As you get older your chances get much slimmer. And I figure college isn’t going anywhere, so that way at least when I start it will be because it’s something I want to do. Not something that was forced on me. But I have figured out where I want to go and what I want to do. In January I will start and I will be doing a double major of fashion design and marketing.

…actually I started this semester and went for about a week. But i had to drop out due to financial issues. It was fun though, i loved it!

wow ,trust me girl u are so so damn lucky atleast u were once in new york.it has been my awaited dream to live in new york.i always want to go for my higher studies in abroad or somewhere outside india but my dad(to much overprotected) and i guess he can’t even aford it.my life is so unfortunate by having a drunk father and helpless mother but still she is a nie mother( who also had so unfortunate events in her life)

@Charms - don’t be discouraged about your situation. If college is your dream, keep your eyes open for opportunities to make that happen. Also, make sure you keep other people in your life aware of what you want…you never know what kind of connections they might be able to offer you.

Oh - and I just wanted to mention - I do have a forum area that hasn’t been used for a while (everyone seems to like the main blog), but feel free to post in there. Might be easier to thread conversations in the forums than in the post comments.
Maybe if a few of us start new threads in the forums, the traffic will pick back up in there. It used to be pretty popular about a year ago, but then the blog took off and everyone quit posting in the forums and started commenting on the blog topics.

hey thanks for your advise that is really sweet of u but my problem is that i am in high school i am just 16, i am fat i don’t have friends, i can’t share my very deeply problems to my parents,i have the crush on the cutest guy in school,there are mostly so many problems coming up in my family,my parents fight so much ,my life is miserable and to make it more worse guys at school bully me and most of all i really cant think what to do after college, i don’t even know what i what from life i always be so god damn confused, i am shy and its hard for me to open up and sometimes i feel like running away from home or just commit a sucide.i hate my unfortunate lifestyle
