What is it that you “can’t” do?

I’m getting kind of lonely here talking all about myself and all the times I’ve been told I “can’t” do something because I’m female.   I’m looking for some more inspirational stories to add to this site.   Ladies, we need to build a network.   I want to hear from you.   Login and share with us by writing a simple blog entry detailing your experience or a funny story.   You never know - you might inspire someone to greatness.   Now wouldn’t that be sweet?

    i entered the lucas county sheriff’s office peace officer academy in january. my husband filed for divorce in march claiming that i had become a neglectful wife and mother. he did not feel that being a deputy sheriff was a womans job. he said that i would see too much that i would not be able to handle. needless to say, i graduate in august and he can sit and spin. :)

    Rachel - while it is unfortunate that your husband was not so understanding, I do applaud you for chasing after your dream. Please send a photo when you graduate. ;)
